Palm OS 上頭的氣象軟體頗多，為甚麼介紹 Deluxe Weather ？請看圖：

發現特別的地方了嗎？是的！ Deluxe Weather 多了將氣象資訊變成 Keyguard. 配合自動更新，Keyguard 氣象功能變得非常直覺而且好用。 Weather Keyguard 提供一日及一週天氣顯示選擇，上圖為一週天氣。

城市碼可以參考 http://weather.yahoo.com/regional/TWXX.html (好像沒琉球)

Keyguard 就是上鎖程式阿，如果你有設定 Keyguard ，當系統關機後就會自動上鎖，下次開機時必須要先解除 Keyguard. 而 Deluxe Weather 的一大特色就是取代原來較為單調的 Keyguard.

* fix unlock device issue when alarm or phone call appear.
* add 7 Days weather information.

剛才正在玩，應該就是只能從PDA端連上網路更新資訊吧，電腦端沒看到可以設定或同步的地方。

0.24 版已經出來囉....

除了修正先前 Weather keyguard 佔住系統問題，另外也新增了7日預報功能還有連線更新資料後自動斷線功能...

其實資料量不會很大.... ;-)

* 可以到 menu -> keyguard settings 取消 Weather keyguard 功能
* 如果有設定 Weather keyguard ，解開就跟解系統原來的 keyguard 一樣..按 center 鍵即可

0.44 測試版出來囉，現在的版本加了蠻多功能的，而且 Weather keyguard 變得更漂亮了，還可以選擇 Skin....

PS.據路邊社消息說....正式版出來還是會維持免費唷..[洋蔥handshake]

0.45 測試版來了...

ChangeLog:
1. Keyguard form did restored background incorrect sometimes.
2. Auto-update does define screen status and stay on or go to sleep if needed.
3. Phone signal strength has 6 bars for all devices now, MouseGlider
4. Wi-Fi dialog should be canceled in automatic mode during auto-update.
5. Minor bugs was fixed.

用過很多氣象軟體，Gx5 的 TreoWeather 的畫面我覺得才是最漂亮的。大家可以試看看：http://www.gx-5.com/products/treoweather/
只是我裝完，常常發生設定好的城市資料全不見了，要重新設定～～～用 RLock 也沒用。。。
DeluxeWare 的這一套，就是～【真的太大了！】

所以，現在還是持續用 4Cast... 實用，畫面勉強OK。氣溫走線圖最好用！

TreoWeather and 4Cast 都是很優秀的軟體，當然 Deluxe Weather 體積不小，不過主要特色應該還是 Weather Keyguard 的特色...

Treo 680 之後記憶體都很大，這樣的體積其實都是可以接受的..

我也發現 update 到 0.45 後就會 update fail. 退回 0.44 版也是有問題，也許是資料端 server 的問題??...

我覺得...應該不算吧.... 這屬於軟體本身設計理念的一部分...

剛剛試了一下... hsin-chu ，不會當耶... 單以 hsin 來搜尋可以找到三筆..包括 hsin-chu 在內...

Deluxe Weather 的窗口對於 Deluxe Weather 氣象更新的資料量有底下簡略說明(但資料算出來我好像覺得怪怪的)：

Each request take about 2000 bytes per session.

Simple example from my log files:
Detailed information - 406 bytes
Expanded information (It does not updates often than 6 hours) - 1483 bytes

Simple calculation showes (if you update weather each 1 hour):
For one day:
- Detailed 406 * 24 = 9744 bytes
- Expanded 1483 * 4 = 5932 bytes
-------------------
Total: 15,31 KBytes

For one month: 15,31 KBytes * 30 = 459,3 KBytes

So on, about 0.5 Mb for one month.

0.46 已經在官方網頁公佈囉，如果您之前安裝過 0.2x 版，一定要體驗新的版本，有很多很多的改變喔。最大的改變應該是 Weather Keyguard 變得更美了，而且還可以選擇顏色主題...

- Precipitation probability (now as default % in all forms)
- Detailed forecast for 48 hours
- 14 days forecast
- "Select" button at home screen make update now;
- Few bugs fixed

And hot-fixes again:
1. Background does restores now. (It is not fatal bug but it were appeared).
2. Previous version "Eating" sockets at Treo again. I repair connection for TX devices but broke for Treo.
It should work for Treo and TX now.
3. Keyguard for non-treo devices fixed..

這套已經一躍成為我最常用的軟體之一，
每天出門前都會看看今天明天的天氣，
準度也還不錯，
不過自從他增加14天的預報後
就沒更新了，
因為傳輸量會增加，
對我們這種寸Byte寸金的吃不飽用戶，
還是有點在乎，
而且14天後的天氣應該不甚準確吧～

最讚的改變就是 scheduler for auto-update . 想什麼時候自動更新就什麼時候更新..

我感覺似乎每一版都有使用期限，
或是他利用上網更新時會順便確認版本資訊，
我曾經在0.5x版時因為增加14天預報時，
我為功能不大而未更新，
過沒幾版之後他就不給我用且提示我要換新版，
另最近試用Keyguard的部分時他也顯示版本不是最新，
而無法show氣象資訊，
換了最新版才ok。
